The design was elaborated over a single story for a retired couple. The brief specified a two bedroom home with an open plan that would capture the ocean view and sunsets.
The layout was developed around the entry corridor and principal breeze while borrowing some principles of passive cooling in homes. The use of timber vents and skylights welcomes natural ventilation and lighting.
